The feeding dishes are not large enough to hold a lot of food at once, meaning there won't be enough leftover feed to spoil. We recommend filling the feeding dishes with small amount of food daily, ensuring the supply is always fresh.
This versatile feeder is suitable for a variety of your local wildlife, including seed mixes, peanut granules, suets, mealworms, butterfly food or insect food. There's truly a feeding dish for all of your wildlife friends.
Siting:
It's best to check the ground for any obstructions, such as electrical cables or water pipes before inserting the stem. The Notgrove feature is suitable for placing in any compact ground area, as well as garden borders, lawns and pots. To get the best use out of this, site the Notgrove bird feeder somewhere in your field of view as you can monitor the water levels and enjoy watching the local wildlife flock to it.
Maintenance:
Periodically replacing the food and water and sanitising with a good wash ensures good hygiene is maintained. The all-metal design makes cleaning quick and easy, providing an effortless turn around between replenishing or replacing the food.
