We recommend storing your bird food in an airtight container in a cool and dry location, to ensure that it remains fresh for the period up to the best before date.

- Sunflowers hearts are a natural product so the hearts can vary in size dependent on the weather during the growing season and at times they may include a small percentage of chips.
- The 5kg bag (and sizes made up of 5kg) may arrive in plastic packaging.
- Premium Sunflower Hearts for wild garden birds are also known as Premium Sunflower Kernels and Premium Sunflower Seeds. Available at the best price only at Garden Wildlife Direct.
- Expected Price Increases - Poor weather conditions have caused the worst Sunflower crop across Europe in over 10 years with yields down by 15%. This is causing prices to increase, with further price rises expected during 2025 due to shortages of sunflower on the worldwide market. We anticipate this will continue until the next crop in September 2025. We recommend considering a switch to a Seed Mix, a Sunflower Mix or Peanuts.
